Theatre, TV, Film, Corporate, Voice Over
A big hello to everyone and thank you for visiting my website.
As many of my acting friends will know, I have been taking time out of the profession (bar a couple of one-off appearances) for quiet a few years now, as I’ve been working on a variety of my business interests, along with my other great passion – charity fundraising for When You Wish Upon A Star – more of which later.
As rewarding as life in the business world has been (along the way winning ‘Merseyside Business Woman of the Year’ in 2006), my love of acting has never diminished and it’s so pleasing to return to the ‘business of acting’ with a fabulous role in the recently released ‘Shooting For Socrates’ movie, directed by James Erskine. I hope you get a chance to catch the movie and enjoy my performance, as Mrs Bingham, alongside ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ star, John Hannah and Games of Thrones actors Conleth Hill and Richard Dormer. It certainly is, great to be back!
Mrs Bingham (Lorraine Sass) in Shooting For Socrates.
Set in Belfast, at the times of the troubles in Northern Ireland, ‘Shooting For Socrates’ is the feelgood David and Goliath story, of the legendary Northern Ireland football team, lead by manager Billy Bingham (John Hannah), taking on the mighty Brazilians, in the World Cup finals of 1986.

When You Wish Upon A Star, is a charity that grants wishes to children living with a life threatening illness. It’s quite simply an amazing organisation that I am proud to have been involved with for over ten years now. The special people who give their time up to help, the family members and the children themselves are an unbelievable source of inspiration and I encourage anyone to be a part of it, any chance I can.
